The ViNE 2804a and ViNE 2808a units are “all-in-one” voice and data access gateways for the SME and Enterprise markets. They provide a standard dual SHDSL interface with 4 or 8 POTS (FXS) ports capable of delivering up to 8 derived voice circuits. The 1 or 2 SHDSL lines can operate in 2-wire or 4-wire modes to support extended reach or increased bandwidth. The unit can operate as a stand-alone device with direct phone or fax connections or can be connected to a PBX system. They support VoIP (SIP & MGCP) and VoDSL protocols together with integrated firewall, router, Proxy, NAT and Ethernet functions.
The ViNE 2804a and 2808a units are ideal for Network migration, VoIP services or remote locations in an IP-VPN application. They can be configured to use either an SHDSL or ethernet uplink.
The 4-ethernet switch allows multiple VLANs to be delivered and controlled. The local SIP Proxy ensures on-site redundancy. |
